  • Raw Resources (primary)
    • Stone
    • Wood
    • Water
    • Food
    • Gems (onyx, silver, amythest, amber, opal, jade, diamond, sapphire, ruby)

Combinations of these resources can be refined into secondary resources which themselves can be refined into tertiary resources, and so on (quaternary, quinary, senary, septenary, octonary, nonary...).  Each time resources are refined they can produce a higher level resource that is worth more than the combined value of the goods used to make the refined resource.
